I write to see what I actually think.
Some of it turns into essays or reviews, some into fiction, and some stays in the drafts folder where it probably belongs. This space is a place to sort through ideas in public, to give shape to half-formed thoughts and see which ones still stand in the light. I care a lot about what people think, and at the same time, I know most people don’t think about me at all. That contradiction feels freeing. It gives me room to write honestly and without polish. I’m working on a novel, slowly, and a screenplay that might one day exist outside my notes. Until then, I’ll keep chipping away and posting pieces that feel ready.
